Pietro Lorenzetti was born in Siena, Italy in 1208, and passed on in the year 1348. He was a more established sibling to Ambrogio Lorenzetti, both Italian painters. Pietro brought naturalism into being by the at no other time seen, three-dimensional Nature of his works.
