Lodewijk Frederik Hendrik Apol, also called Louis Apol, was born in the Netherlands in 1850 and passed on in 1936. He was a Dutch scene painter having some expertise in winter scenes. At an early age, Apol’sApol’s dad perceived his ability in expressions of the human experience and paid for private exercises for him. His educators consisted of J.F. Hoppenbrouwers and P.F. Stortenbeker. At 18 years old, Dutch King Willem the III presented a grant to him. Apol proceeded to be quite possibly the most exceptional delegates of the Haagse School.
