Sandro Botticelli was born in Florence, Italy. He showed an ability for painting at an early age. He is perceived as quite possibly the leading specialists of the Italian Renaissance. His artworks of Primavera and The Birth of Venus, both in Florence’s Uffizi Galleries, were painted for the Medici and embody the ascent of secularism, the portrayal of fanciful and traditional subjects notwithstanding the strict issues dispatched by the Church.
