Horace Vernet was born in Paris, France, the child of Carle Vernet. He got one of the incomparable French military and sporting painters. He designed the vast Constantine room at Versailles with fight scenes from Valmy, Wagram, Bouvines, and ‘Napoleon at Friedland’. His ‘Painter’s Studio’ portrays him as he wanted to be, encompassed by gatherings of individuals, boxing, playing instruments, and leading ponies. Horace Vernet’s painting mainly depicts scenes of fights.
