Viktor Mikhaylovich Vasnetsov, (born May 3 [May 15, New Style], 1848, Loyal, Vyatka province, Russia – and kicked the bucket on July 23, 1926, Moscow, Russia, U.S.S.R.). He was a famous Russian craftsman, creator, and modeler whose great works include the State Tretyakov Gallery’s veneer in Moscow.
