Austrian painter Franz Richard Unterberger [1838-1902], a Romantic style painter of waterscapes, scenes, engineering, and Genre, was born in Innsbruck, in what was then the Austro-Hungarian Empire, on fifteenth August 1838, one of eleven offspring of a well of a typical family. He chose to seek a vocation as a craftsman at a generally young age and took a crack at the Academy in Munich. His works can be found in galleries in Amalfi, Louviers; Troyes; Venice, and Melbourne.
